Rhun ap Iorwerth AM delivers festive wishes to Llangefni post workers

Rhun ap Iorwerth AM has visited his local delivery office in Llangefni to thank local postmen and women for their hard work during Royal Mail’s busiest period. This year Royal Mail has been celebrating its 500th anniversary, with this festive period marking half a millennium of delivering Christmas cards and parcels

Rhun ap Iorwerth AM visited his local Royal Mail sorting office to see first-hand the operation of delivering Christmas post and to pass on season’s greetings to its hardworking staff.

He was shown around by Delivery Manager Eifion Jones and met the postmen and women who are pulling out all the stops to sort and deliver mail in the local area over the Christmas period.

Mr ap Iorwerth said: “I’d like to thank all the postal workers for their hard work not just at Christmas but throughout the year.”

Eifion Jones said: “We are extremely proud of our postmen and women for all their hard work during the festive season and for continuing our proud history of delivering Christmas mail.”
