Ynys Môn Assembly Member Rhun ap Iorwerth is supporting a campaign to seek to prevent violence and abuse against workers.
 
The Union of Shop, Distributive and Allied Workers (Usdaw)’s ‘Freedom From Fear’ campaign works to spread the message that abuse is not part of the job.
 
Rhun ap Iorwerth, who joined Usdaw representatives at the Assembly to publicise the campaign, said:
 
“Especially with a very busy shopping period ahead of us, it is important that workers feel safe at work and that the shopping public are aware that violence, threats and abuse against worker is unacceptable behaviour.”
