We are all very disappointed with NatWest’s decision to close their branch in Beaumaris and to reduce opening hours in Holyhead. I have met with heads of the bank in Wales to express the protest of the people of Anglesey, but it was obvious that there wasn’t going to be any change in their decision. I have therefore been pushing to ensure that services are maintained in the best possible way, through securing a full service for private customers in the Post Office and a comprehensive service for business, for example. We also discussed a mobile bank, and I’m anxious to have your opinion, to pass on to NatWest on what days you think the bank should visit the town, and where it should be located.
